Here you see some magic staves, some based on medieval and later icelandic symbols, some from the migration period and some new developed following the old system to best knowledge and research.
The symbols are believed to reduce fear, give power and luck in battle (wrestling), connect to the spirits of the ancestors or in general enhance spiritual power.
All tattoos are tapped by hand and again a big "Thank you :)" goes out to the helpers and stretchers.
