Key pattern tattoo

The celtic key pattern, a wonderful element of  celtic art, surprisingly rare chosen only today.
The most beautiful examples are found in the book of Kells, an illuminated manuscript from ca 800 a.D., although much earlier traces can be found also in pre christian celtic art.
